- Implement appropriate planning by the Board and senior management for apprentice and trainee employment services delivery, operational support and risk management.
- Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage and ensure Workplace Health and Safety standards are met at all times.
- Ensuring staff have the skills and experience they need to provide quality and culturally sensitive services to job seekers, our apprentices and trainees, employers and local communities.
- Behaving ethically and acting with honesty, due care and diligence.
- Being open and accountable.
- Avoiding any practice or activity which we could reasonably foresee could bring Kestrel Recruitment into disrepute.
- Manage all collection information in a sensitive and confidential manner.
- Seek feedback and advice from our stakeholders in relation to our service delivery and business practices for a process of continual improvement; and
- Maintain a grievance process for the resolution of complaints and grievances in an open and fair manner.
- Recruit apprentices and trainees in an ethical manner that is consistent with government legislation including complying with equal opportunity law.
- Encouraging community acceptance and support of entry level training, and the group training employment model.
- Working in collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and communities to identify needs, and how they can be met.
- Choose host businesses that adhere to quality employment standards and have the ability to provide appropriate employment and training support.
- Protect the interests and welfare of its clients.
- Not using authority or office for personal gain.
- Demonstrating compassion and integrity, and avoiding discriminatory practices.
- Ensuring that this code of conduct, our policies and procedures, the National Standards for Group Training Organisations and all relevant laws and legislation is complied with at all times.
